Mayfield Road
COPS have launched a probe into the unexplained death of a man who was found lying on the ground.
Emergency services rushed to Mayfield Road at around 4.40pm on Monday where they discovered the man.
The force said that enquires into the incident is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 4.40pm on Monday, January 15, police received a report of a man lying on the ground in Mayfield Road.
"Emergency services attended, however, the man died at the scene.
"The death is being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination will take place in due course.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
