THE Scottish SPCA Lanarkshire supporter group is recruiting for volunteers to join them as they raise funds throughout the year to help Scotland’s animals.
The charity is hosting a welcome event at their Hamilton based centre on March 17 and any animal lovers interested in getting involved in the community should get in touch.
Peter Fleming, Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre Manager, said: “Joining one of our supporter groups is a wonderful way to meet new people, take on a new challenge and also give back to the community.
“We’d really love to hear from anyone who would like to lend a hand and help the lives of abused, abandoned and injured animals.
“Volunteering is a great way of meeting new people or for adding experience to your CV. It’s a fun way of being able to give back to the community and helps us to continue rescuing abused and abandoned animals.”
