BUDDING musicians and professionals will be teaming up to perform a Christmas concert in Netherlee next week.
On Friday, December 15, at 7.30pm Netherlee Church will welcome musicians from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland plus talented up-and-coming players for a festive concert.
A variety of music will be played and there will be a reception afterwards.
The event is part of the Netherlee Chamber Music Series and all proceeds will be going to Classrooms for Malawi.
The charity is a network of volunteer groups based in Scotland which works to improve places of education in the African country.
Volunteers help to build new facilities to try and get children out of poverty.
Professional musicians from East Renfrewshire have been putting Netherlee on the map since starting the series in 2013.
Entry into the concert is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
