COMMUTERS are facing travel chaos after a signalling fault between Barrhead and Dunlop cancelled and delayed a number of trains.
Services between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock are set to be impacted until 7pm.
Initially, ScotRail had anticipated trains would be running as normal by 5pm. That estimate was later revised to 6pm and then for an hour later.
The rail firm has since tweeted to say staff are currently on-site investigating the problem.
Passengers delayed for more than 30 minutes have also been reminded to keep hold of their ticket in order to make a claim at ScotRail.co.uk/delay-repay
