OVERHEAD wire damage has cancelled or delayed a number of trains, causing travel misery for Barrhead and Neilston commuters.
A fault at Pollokshields East has affected services on the Glasgow Central to Neilston line.
ScotRail previously expected the problems to be fixed by 12pm and had revised their estimate to 5pm tonight.
The firm has since tweeted, informing commuters that estimate has now been pushed back to 6.30pm.
At least 39 services from Glasgow Central have been scrapped altogether, rerouted or delayed due to the problems.
Services to Neilston are running express between Muirend and Glasgow Central in both directions.
Passengers are advised to check with ScotRail before they travel.
A replacement bus service is running between Glasgow Central and Newton, and Glasgow Central and Patterton.
A full list of affected services is available here.
