A CHARITY’S fundraising efforts are stepping up a gear, thanks to kind-hearted business bosses.
Quarriers, which is one of Scotland’s leading social care charities, has announced a new partnership with logistics and construction specialists The Malcolm Group.
The firm is giving other businesses and organisations the chance to have their name featured on the trailer of one of their lorries, which will be driven across the UK.
Around 20 businesses – each of which will make a donation to Quarriers – have already committed their support.
Alice Harper, Quarriers chief executive, said: “We are thrilled to announce this partnership.
“Quarriers’ roots are in Quarriers Village, near Bridge of Weir, just a stone’s throw away from Linwood, where The Malcolm Group was founded and is still headquartered today.”
