Police detained a teenager following an incident in Barrhead on August 8
A TEENAGER was arrested after allegedly abusing police in the centre of Barrhead.
The 18-year-old suspect is said to have conducted himself in a disorderly manner by shouting and swearing at officers in the town’s Main Street.
Police have confirmed that the incident, which took place at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, August 8, resulted in the teenager being detained.
He was scheduled to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court the following day.
