A YOUNG woman was sexually harassed by a topless, multicolour-haired man wearing gold trousers on-board a Neilston train.
The 20-year-old victim was travelling on a night service to the village from Glasgow when another passenger, who is described as white and in his 40s, began verbally abusing her.
The man is also said to have threatened and disturbed other passengers by playing loud music.
Detectives from British Transport Police are appealing for information in connection with the incident which took place on the 8.05pm Glasgow Central-Neilston line on Wednesday, August 9.
The man is believed to be a regular user of the Glasgow Central-Neilston train and is often seen with a boom box.
Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have been on this service and saw a man acting suspiciously.
Likewise, anyone who recognises the suspect's description is asked to contact police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 594 of Wednesday, August 9.
