Pupils at a school in Neilston showed learning can be fun as they celebrated all things French.
Children at St Thomas’ Primary were engaged in a variety of activities which involved French language and culture.
These included a French café, French quiz and concert where children showcased their knowledge of the French language.
The event was organised by primary six pupils and their teacher Mrs Catherine Gillespie.
To continue the theme, youngsters also dressed in blue, white and red clothes and some of them even drew on moustaches for the occasion.
Brendan Docherty, headteacher at the school, told the Barrhead News the focus day was the culmination of the children’s French curricular work throughout the academic year.
He said the children were enthusiastic about taking part and organising the event.
Mr Docherty added: “This was an excellent way for children to showcase their knowledge of the French language.
“All of the children thoroughly enjoyed the activities.”
