BARRHEAD Housing Association (BHA) is looking to add two women to its governing board.
The organisation has launched the recruitment drive as, currently, just 30 per cent of board members are women.
Those who can spare a couple of hours each month are invited to get in touch.
Training and induction is offered to all new members, who are asked to pay £1, before being elected to the association’s board at the next AGM.
BHA also has sub-groups looking at its financial position, as well as a subsidiary board aiming to expand factoring and other services.
The organisation meets at 6pm on the last Thursday of each month at its Main Street office.
For more details, call chief executive Shirley Robison on 0141 881 0638 or email enquiries@barrheadha.org by Saturday, April 29.
