THE Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for East Renfrewshire as a cold weather "bomb" descends.
Storm Doris is expected to cause high winds and snow in the area on Thursday.
A yellow 'be aware' warning is in place for snow in East Renfrewshire between 2am and 6pm on Thursday.
Weather warnings have also been issued for Highlands and the Western Isles, Grampian, Central, Tayside & Fife, and Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian and Borders.
Up to 10cm of snow are expected in some parts of the country, with strong winds of up to 60mph also predicted.
Drivers have been warned to expect travel disruptions.
