THE cast of Still Game are among the stars to feature in comedy "Smakeroonies" designed by a Barrhead fan.

Stephen Miller, 49, has been flooded with orders for the fake bank notes which feature the OAP characters from the show.

Other themes include Oor Wullie and the Broons, William Wallace and Outlander.

Former and current First Minister Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon also feature on the joke notes as well as tennis champ Andy Murray.

Stephen, who now lives in Pembrokeshire, Wales, creates the notes from home.

The father-of-three was inspired to design the false currency shortly before the Scottish referendum.

He said: "I made a note for one of my friends and he encouraged me to sell them online.

"I usually sell them from my page on Ebay and Facebook - I have had a great response.

"I've sold them all over the world but they are most popular in Scotland.

"The feedback has been great and it's all in good fun.

"I can design anything that anyone asks for - orders for Star Wars themed notes also became very popular when the new film came out too."
