BARRHEAD Water Works is hosting a supper to celebrate Burns Night.
Residents will be welcomed to the greenspace this Sunday, January 22 to commemorate the life of renowned Scottish poet Rabbie Burns, who was born on January 25, 1759.
The Water Works Action Group has announced that it will hold its Burns Supper around an open fire from 3pm to 6pm at the site, which lies just off Glasgow Road.
There will also be a haggis hunt for children.
Entry is free, although guests are asked to "pay as they feel".
