BARRHEAD woke to a light sprinkling of snow this morning however forecasters say the heaviest snow is yet to fall.
The Met Office has maintained it's weather warning for the Barrhead area, with heavy snow predicted to fall betwen 10am and 12pm.
However there is some good news for commuters and parents, as the snow is forecast to frop off by 2pm with no further snow expected after 5pm.
Schools are operating as normal.
Friday's weather looks to be cold but dry with no snow or rain, with a similar situation expected on Saturday.
