DRIVERS in Barrhead will have to endure another two weeks of roadworks.
Construction at the Dovecothall Roundabout is due to end today (Monday).
However Scottish Water has said that there will be a further two weeks worth of works on Aurs Road.
As of Monday, the traffic management is to move along Aurs Road.
The road will be reduced to one lane with two way traffic lights from the Dovecothall roundabout to the junction of Lyoncross Avenue until Wednesday, November30.
Scottish Water says it will then be working on a rolling programme for two weeks with temporary traffic lights along Aurs Road and Glasgow Road which will be the final part of these works.
The utility provider has said that it apologises for any inconvenience to road users, businesses and customers in the area and thanks them for their continued patience and understanding.
