TWO cars were damaged after a number of wheelie bins were set on fire in Barrhead.
Police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called out to the town's Fenwick Drive in the early hours of Friday morning.
The incident is reported to have taken place just after midnight and officers are treating it as wilful fire raising.
It is thought that two cars were parked close to the bins that were set on fire, and the cars themselves also caught fire in the incident.
Anyone who saw anything in the area at this time or who may have relevant information is asked to call 101.
