THE spotlight is on Paisley as the town hall is lit up ahead of the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award ceremony.

Paisley's Town Hall, the venue for the Scottish Album of the Year Award for the next two years, was emblazoned with Paisley for UK City of Culture 2021 and Scottish Album of the Year Award logos.

This was to to signal the beginning of the SAY Award public vote which runs until Wednesday, June 15.

Music fans will get their say to choose their favourite longlist album with the winner securing an automatic place on The SAY Award Shortlist of 10.

The other nine titles are chosen by an independent panel of judges.
