THE welfare of a missing 21-year-old man has prompted police to issue an appeal.
Barry Stewart has been missing from his home in Argyle Street, Paisley since around 1pm on Thursday, May 12.
He is described as white, around 5ft 8” in height and of slim build with short brown hair and tattoos on both arms.
Barry is known to frequent Paisley and Barrhead, but may also have links to Edinburgh.
Inspector Jim Cast from Paisley Police Office said: “Barry has been missing for just over a week now and officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries to find him, however so far there has been no sightings of him since he left his home.
“I would ask that anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact Paisley Police Office through the non-emergency number 101. "I would also urge Barry himself to contact officers to let us know he is safe and well.”
