THERE are just four days left to place a nomination for this year's TSB Local Charity Partnership programme.

After supporting the Brightest Star charity for the last two years, the bank is looking for residents to suggest other worthy causes to receive funding for the next 12 months.

Brightest Star was set up by Renfrew mum Arlene Clarke in memory of her late six-year-old son Jack Kennedy to support bereaved parents.

Those who would like to nominate a deserving organisation have until Sunday, May 22 to complete a form in-branch or online at www.tsb.co.uk/get-involved.

The Local Charity Partnership programme gives charities an opportunity to benefit from fundraising and volunteering support from TSB branches across Britain.

Nearly £26,000 has been raised for 31 charities by the bank's Glasgow offices since January 2015.

More than 8,000 nominations have already been placed from throughout the UK for this year's programme.

Bola Gibson, head of Community Engagement at TSB, said: "Our Local Charity Partnership programme is all about helping the local causes that are the lifeblood of many communities across Britain.

"We understand the important role that they play for so many, and to be able to give a little back means a lot to the TSB Partners in Glasgow.

"We’re excited about supporting even more local causes over the coming months and hope to see lots of nominations."
