DETECTIVES in Paisley have appealed for information after a 59-year-old man was seriously assaulted.
The man was left with serious facial injuries after what police describe as an "unprovoked attack".
The attack took place at about 8.45pm on Saturday, January 30, on Neilston Road near to the Nursery Times nursery.
During incident the victim was approached by an unknown male described as white Scottish, stocky build around 25-30 years of age with fair hair who then violently assaulted him.
The attacker punched the 59-year-old in the face, leaving him with serious facial injuries that required hospital treatment.
