Two Golden rules of cheap van insurance

When you're trying to find cheap van insurance on an online comparison site, you may be dazzled by the flashy logos and impossibly low prices but have you really

thought it through? We offer two quick golden rules for choosing cheap van insurance, so you know you've made the right choice before you get trigger happy and purchase the cheapest insurance that comes your way.

Rule #1: You don't always have to pay a premium

Some people believe that the word 'cheap' equates to bad quality or poor service, however this is not always the case. With the insurance market as competitive as

it is today, it is entirely possible to get cheap van insurance without having to skimp on the quality of the cover. However, just remember that the cheapest policies are bound to be your most basic policies such as cover for fire, theft and third party. Before you accept the cheapest quote make sure you don't need any of the added extras like breakdown assistance cover and cover for rental vehicles. And if you do require these, rather make sure you've compared prices from all the top insurers before committing to a particular policy.

Rule #2: Not all cheap van insurance is equal

Please always keep in mind that all insurers are not equal - even if they are leaders in the industry. Each policy will offer different levels of cover or even different types of cover. And its important that you compare apples with apples when making your decision, so look at the cover details too. It's not just about the price, not even when you're simply looking for cheap van insurance.
