POLICE are working with housing authorities to evict convicted drug dealers from their homes.

The move comes as Barrhead Police continue their blitz on the town’s dealers and users.

Now cops plan to work with East Renfrewshire Council in their no-nonsense approach to driving the evil drug dealers out of town.

The latest crime figures for 2007/08 revealed that drug related crimes in East Renfrewshire have shot up by a staggering 82 per cent.
