Future Non-Denominational Primary School Provision in Newton Mearns South and Establishment of a New Non-Denominational Primary School and Nursery Class at Maidenhill: From Session 2019-20 and Beyond
The Education Committee of East Renfrewshire Council has agreed to consult on the above proposal by the Director of Education.
In terms of the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 as amended, the Director of Education now wishes to seek views on
this proposal from interested parties. This includes the parents
of children attending the affected schools, Kirkhill and Mearns Primary Schools and Mearns Castle High School, and parents of children expected to attend within the next two school years and as such local nurseriesin Newton Mearns are part of the consultation.

Eastwood Park and in local libraries.

The Education Committee will make a decision on the recommendations at its meeting on Thursday 30 March 2017.
